A 30-minute guided meditation will be held Tuesdays from 12:00-12:30 in Room 1007 by Liza Goncharova. The Council for Diversity, Richness, and Inclusion provides the meditation in our efforts to promote mental health and mental wellness among our members and other staff, faculty, and students at Heinz.

Meditation is one tool for improving mental health. It is known to have many positive benefits such as improving relationships with people you care about, improving self-confidence, reconciling past-traumas, and treating anxiety and depression.

I hope all of you are able to come at least once during the mini and give it a try. And if meditation is something you already practice for religious and/or personal reasons - I hope you find this to be a good resource.

About us:

In building this elite class of change-makers, Heinz College will serve as the exemplar in producing graduates with advanced analytic knowledge coupled with an ability to look beyond the numbers to the diverse individuals they serve.
