Come try a cultural dessert and catch up with members of the SEE team!
This event's dessert will be Rasmalai: - a popular South Asian dessert made of soft, spongy cheese discs, similar to cottage cheese, (chenna), soaked in a sweet, creamy, and cardamom and saffron-flavored milk.

Rasmalai is a dessert originating from South Asia. It is made by soaking soft discs of chenna (a fresh, unaged cheese) in sweetened, thickened milk flavored with cardamom and saffron, hence its name: “ras” (juice) and “malai” (cream), and it is often topped with chopped pistachios or almonds. Rasmalai is commonly served in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh at weddings and festivals such as Diwali and Eid, where it is considered a celebratory sweet that is shared with family and guests.
