This event's dessert will be: Puto - a popular, steamed rice-cake dessert from the Philippines!

Puto is a Filipino steamed rice cake traditionally made from rice flour, water, and sugar. Often enjoyed as a snack or served alongside savory dishes like dinuguan (pork blood stew). Puto is lightly sweet and has a soft, fluffy texture. It is typically steamed in small, round molds and may be topped with cheese or salted egg. Variations use different types of flour or add flavors like ube (purple yam) or pandan. Puto is commonly served at gatherings, fiestas, and holiday meals.
