Citing Sources and Effective Reference Management

In this workshop, we’ll cover best practices related to writing and citing sources. Included in the session will be:
• Proper paraphrasing and when to cite a source
• Best practices in note-taking to avoid accidental plagiarism
• Finding resources for citation styles, citing legal sources and citing data and statistics
• Using citation managers like Zotero to organize sources and build bibliographies
• Using iThenticate to check your work for accidental plagiarism
