Featuring Nicole Tichon, Political Consultant and former campaign director

Having history, morality, or even facts on your side – though helpful - is never enough. Successful advocates and politicos have a plan to win. This workshop will provide an overview of the tough work and enormous satisfaction that comes when you stop talking about a problem and actually want to solve it. We’ll walk through the anatomy of policy and political campaigns, with specific examples of the strategies and tactics employed at each phase based on the instructor’s extensive experience leading and participating in national and international campaigns. The topics covered include defining your campaign for change goal, identifying data to make your case, working with the press, and utilizing lobbying and canvassing tools.
