Mission
To enrich Heinz students learning experience by providing educational and career-oriented opportunities focusing on the Internet of Things and Connected Systems.

Membership Benefits
Goals:
• Give students exposure to how IoT is being applied in different industries, by having information sessions and workshops.
• Provide students with technical training and materials to develop IoT prototypes.
• Encourage members to apply their learnings through hackathon and building sessions.
• Work as a bridge between companies and Heinz College students interested in developing solutions using IoT.
• Propose and drive students’ attendance to IoT related conferences.

Objectives:
• Hold at least 2 information sessions per semester
• Prepare 1 technical workshop for IoT foundations at least once every academic year, taking place on the first semester
• Organize 1 hackathon per semester
• Host lab sessions where students can get hands-on experience on IoT devices every two weeks
• Identify and organize resources for members to attend to an IoT conference at least once a year
