Historical trauma experienced among particular people groups shatters the social fabric of communities. This session will explore the role of community building in healing the wounds of generational trauma and understanding this emerging community as the foundation for social resilience.

Why PeaceWeek?
Peacebuilding is not a far away concept that only applies to diplomats. Peacebuilding starts with you, with me, within our communities. Amidst the humanitarian crises impacting the world, this country, and our diverse communities, the Peacebuilding week program seeks to create spaces where the CMU community can engage with topics such as trauma, community, and healing, and the steps we can take to contribute to peacebuilding. Join us for a week of powerful conversations exploring how we can all build a more peaceful world through listening, faith, and building just communities.
