How can AI run on renewables instead of fossil fuels?

Join us for a lunchtime conversation with Peter Zhang, who will share new research on aligning renewable energy generation with AI energy demand.

This project explores how to address the mismatch between when solar and wind energy are available and when human-driven energy demand typically peaks. Using robust optimization, supply chain design, and policy frameworks, Peter’s work envisions AI operations that run “nocturnally” to better match clean energy availability, creating a more resilient and sustainable energy system.
