Heinz College Washington D.C. Colloquium and Networking Reception event is to introduce students to different industries through career-related panels with key alumni and employers working in the Washington D.C. area.
The event takes place in Washington D.C. at the Hall of States (400-444 North Capitol St NW, Washington, DC 20001). Students will engage in panels featuring Heinz alumni and regional employers. Lunch will be provided. The end of the event will feature a Networking Reception with Heinz alumni and regional employers. Light appetizers and drinks will be provided.
Registration opens on Friday August 29, 2025 at 12:30 pm. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Registration will close Thursday September 4, 2025 at 12:30 pm or until the event reaches capacity.
Heinz students only.
While this event is open to all Heinz students, students in the following programs will get the greatest benefit in attending: PPM, PPM-DA, PPM-DC, MAM, HCAIT, and ISPM.
Registered students will receive information on how to register for roundtrip bus transportation to Washington DC. Roundtrip tickets are $50.00 (there is not a discount if you only take the bus one way). Bus will depart Pittsburgh Thursday October 17, 2025 at 6:00 am. The bus will depart Washington DC on Saturday October 18, 2025 at 6:00 pm. Registration for the event does not guarantee a bus spot.
All travel expenses including but not limited to transportation, lodging, additional meals are the students responsibility.
