Join the Carnegie Mellon University Master of Arts Management program for a panel discussion in New York City to explore how arts managers raise the awareness of different cultures and promote intercultural relations through the production of visual and performing arts. Chief Executive Officer of the International Society for the Performing Arts, David Baile, moderates a discussion on the role of arts manager as cultural diplomat. Joining him on the panel are three leaders in the field: Mary Lou Aleskie, Executive Director, International Festival of Arts and Ideas; Linda Brumbach, Founder and President, Pomegranate Arts; and Zeyba Rahman, Senior Program Officer, Building Bridges Program at the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art.

Following the discussion, join us for a reception with the panelists, Carnegie Mellon University alumni, local NYC arts managers, and current Master of Arts Management students to continue the conversation. Light appetizers and beverages will be served.
