Special Agent (SA) Jeffery H. Tisak began duty with the Federal Bureau of Investigation January 19, 1999. Upon graduation from the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, SA Tisak was assigned at the two person Duluth Resident Agency in the Minneapolis, Minnesota Division.
SA Tisak was responsible for investigations and liaison in the vast nine northeastern counties of Minnesota which includes two federal prisons, two Indian reservations, eight gaming casinos, an international airport, port and border. SA Tisak conducted investigations in every program of the FBI to include white collar, health care fraud, homicide, fugitive, kidnapping, bank robbery, crimes on government reservations, crimes against children, weapons of mass destruction, domestic, international and counter terrorism. SA Tisak was an operator on the Minneapolis Swat Team.
SA Tisak was transferred to the Pittsburgh Division in October 2009 and assigned to a drug/gang/violent crime squad. SA Tisak helped form a violent crime squad which included crimes against children. SA Tisak was the bank robbery coordinator while maintaining the responsibilities of fugitive, kidnapping, homicide, crimes on government reservations and the associated liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. SA Tisak has served as a relief and principal supervisor, acting supervisor for the language, mobile surveillance team, technical agents, applicant, recruiting, diversity and inclusion programs, and was an operator and assistant swat team leader for the swat team.
SA Tisak is the Applicant Coordinator, Applicant Recruiter, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator, EEO Counselor and a Behavior Analysis Unit Coordinator. SA Tisak is a member of the FBI Adjunct Faculty and instructs leadership to FBI supervisors at the FBI Academy and the National Convention Center in Leesburg, Virginia He teaches Presentation Skill Course (PSC), trains PSC Instructors and is an Emotional Intelligence Quotient 2.0 Coach.
