Do you have a passion or interest in local government?

Have you thought about working for the city (or any city?) Are you curious about the behind-the-scenes action in city hall? Do you have an interest in urban food production or sustainability practices in the urban environment? If so, then you are invited to come hear for yourself what working for city planning is like.

Shelly Danko+Day has been the Urban Agriculture and Food Policy Adviser for the City of
Pittsburgh since 2014. Based in the Department of City Planning, Sustainability and Resilience Division, Shelly’s work focuses on managing the Adopt-A-Lot program, and creating programs and advancing policies that increase healthy affordable food access for all Pittsburgh residents.
