Ned Laubacher, Vice President, Strategy and Chair of Innovu’s Advisory Council, is responsible for researching, developing, articulating, and managing the company’s strategic business goals. He applies his expertise in finance, strategic planning, predictive health analytics, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and health innovation to drive Innovu’s product offerings and overall growth strategy. Additionally, Ned chairs Innovu’s advisory council, a team of highly knowledgeable business and healthcare executives who provide fresh perspective on data insight, customer needs, and future market direction.
Ned also serves as Principal of Health Spectrum Advisors, which focuses on development of early-stage intellectual property. He advises health systems and employers on specific strategies for financial performance, shared-risk payer strategies, care coordination, self-insured employer initiatives, M&A, and turnaround operations.
Ned previously held the position of Executive Vice President of the Eastern Corridor for the West Penn Allegheny Health System (WPAHS), serving as Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a tertiary medical center and a community hospital. He was also Chief Operating Officer of the healthcare advisory practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, and led the eastern region for Alliance Health Services, a national diagnostic imaging company. Ned’s considerable experience includes holding CEO positions for an outpatient surgery center, a durable medical equipment provider, a home health and hospice agency, and a national radiation oncology company.
He is also the former director of Eckert Technologies Group, LLC, Axiom Health Intellect Systems, Inc., the Partnership HealthPlan of California, the Workforce Investment Board of Napa Valley, Allegheny Valley Hospital, and the St. Joseph Home Health and Hospice, among others.
Ned earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds dual masters’ degrees in business administration and public health from UCLA. He received his healthcare leadership certificate from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
