About Us

The White Hat Society exists to provide educational, networking and social opportunities for Heinz students interested in information security. WHS organizes events that provide our members and other students with opportunities to learn technical skills beyond their coursework and to engage with security professionals as a means to foster meaningful dialogue about cybersecurity technology and policy. Our hope is that WHS will be a platform that will help students become aware industry trends, build networks, and find resources that will enhance their professional development.
